Certified Sleep & Well-Being Specialist
As a mother of 3 young children, Cayla experienced the struggles of sleep deprivation first hand. Feeling exhausted and overwhelmed after the birth of her first child, she reached out to a 'traditional' sleep consultant who pressured her into using the “Cry It Out” approach with my baby. It felt wrong for her family from the get-go, and she was lucky enough to find a holistic approach that was respectful of her parenting choices and her baby's needs. Cayla used this approach with all three of her children even before becoming certified. This inspired her to pursue a career in Paediatric sleep. It is Cayla’s mission to provide parents with a judgement free alternative to sleep training. Her goal is to help families keep the parts of their sleep practices that they love, and change the things that are no longer working, while empowering parents to trust their instincts.
Cayla is a Certified Sleep and Well Being Specialist. Additionally, she holds a certification in Breastfeeding Support and Education from Doula Canada and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western University.
