Dr. Lisa Caputo
DC, BSc (Hons)
Dr. Lisa is a primary health care provider who strongly believes in using evidence-based research to treat the whole person, rather than intermittent symptoms. As an educator, she also feels that it is her duty to teach patients about their condition and the importance of self-care in order to prevent future recurrence. When you truly understand why your body feels and moves the way it does, you are better equipped to make positive changes that are sustainable for your life in the long-term.
Dr. Lisa is a licensed Chiropractor and certified Acupuncture Provider. After graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, she went on to complete her graduate studies with the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, earning a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She is also a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and Canadian Chiropractic Association. Dr. Lisa uses a variety of techniques in her practice, including but not limited to soft tissue therapy/myofascial release therapy, Graston technique, spinal manipulation/mobilizations, acupuncture, exercise prescription, nutritional recommendations, and orthotic prescription.
Dr. Lisa also holds a very special interest in Fertility Rehabilitation. For almost a decade she has been successfully using chiropractic techniques, acupuncture, and education to optimize and supplement women’s fertility journey, may it be natural or assisted.
Dr. Lisa is also a Professor of Pathophysiology and Case Writer for Seneca College. When she is not working, you can find her baking with her twin daughters, enjoying good food with friends, or exploring the world with her beautiful family.
